Raima Mathew

I am a graduate student majoring in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am being advised by Professor Camille Cobb. My research focuses on solving the gap between the security research and users' security & privacy concerns.

I'm broadly interested in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics along with Usable Security and Privacy. My internships and research work reflect these interests. I love to learn new things, and I believe I am a quick learner. If anyone wants to talk about these topics, please feel free to contact me.

Teaching
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), I have conducted various course activities such as teaching students, handling office hours, quiz prep sessions, grading and more. I enjoy teaching students, and giving them a gist of Computer Science.
  • I am currently working as a TA for the course CS 102 (Little Bits to Big Ideas) under Professor Ryan Cunningham. I have also worked for the same course during Spring 2021.
  • Worked as a TA for the course CS 105 (Intro Computing: Non-Tech) under Professor Craig Zilles during Fall 2021.
  • Worked as a TA for the course CS 125 (Intro to Computing) under Professor Geoffrey Challen during Fall 2020.
